ASUS Transformer Prime Android Tablet Computer Price in Singapore, Features and Tech Specs

ASUS Transformer Prime Android Tablet Computer Price in Singapore, Features and Tech Specs: Considered as the first-ever tablet computer to run the quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, the Transformer Prime is all set to dethrone the iPad 2 as the king of the tablet PC. However, its awesome processing power is only the tip of iceberg since it packs a good number of excellent features that could make your head spin.
Let’s start off with Transformer Prime’s display. It sports a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ Gorilla Glass touchscreen capable of 1280 x 800 resolution, 178-degree viewing angle, and max brightness of 600 nits. Although a 10-incher, the Asus Transformer Prime is extremely portable, thanks to its slim profile (8.3mm thin) and ultra-lightweight (586g) construction. It is also designed to be really durable and attractive at the same time.
The ASUS Transformer Prime is equipped with 12-core GeForce GPU and 1GB of RAM to complement its super mighty processor. This makes the device more than capable to do multitasking and handling demanding tasks like playing full high definition (HD) videos, running 3D games, and doing other resource-hungry tasks.
Although the Transformer Prime uses a quad-core processor, it is not a battery-killer at all. On full charge, they said that it could last up to 12 hours, which is better in terms of performance and efficiency than most tablet computers these days. Plus, you can further extend its battery life to up to 18 hours using the optional mobile dock.

Another feature of the ASUS Transformer Prime that sets it apart from other tablet computers is its 8-Megapixel rear-facing camera with auto-focus, LED flash, and 1080p HD video recording capability. It also has a built-in 1.2MP front camera for capturing self-portraits and for video conferencing.

The ASUS Transformer Prime runs Android 3.2 out-of-the-box, which can be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). It is also pre-installed with several handy applications like Polaris Office suite and SuperNote.
