BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphone Price in Singapore, Features and Tech Specs

BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphone Price in Singapore, Features and Tech Specs: The BlackBerry Bold 9900, also known as the BlackBerry Bold Touch, is the latest and greatest smartphone released by Research In Motion. Unleashed just this August 2011, it runs the BlackBerry OS 7 and is the first ‘Bold’ line to feature a touchscreen display.
Although it features that trademark BlackBerry look, the Bold 9900 added several visual enhancements that make the device more elegant and overall attractive when compared to its predecessor. The build-quality is superior and the glossy metal and glass design could easily entice consumers.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a wider QWERTY keyboard hence it has a wider body than its previous versions. However, it remains sexy and portable and can be easily placed in your pocket without the added bulk. That’s why it is considered as the thinnest BB phone in existence.

Powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and loaded with 768MB of RAM, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is no slouch when compared to other latest smartphones. In terms of storage, it offers 8GB of built-in memory and also supports up to 32GB of external storage via microSD.
Like I said earlier, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen display that is capable of 640×480-pixel (287 dpi) resolution. The display may be small for those of you who are used to using some of the bigger touchscreen phones but the display looks sharp and the picture quality is really top-notch. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 packs a 5-megapixel camera that supports up to 720p High Definition video recording. According to several reviews, captured videos look good and HD video playback runs smoothly.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is equipped with the standard sensors found on other smartphones such as Accelerometer, Magnetometer, and Proximity Sensor. It also includes the necessary stuff like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Surprisingly, the Bold 9900 has an NFC (Near Field Communication) chip that is usually present on most high-end Android smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S II (S2). The NFC chip enables barcode scans without having the need to use the camera and it also supports mobile payment systems like Google Wallet.
